A-SAFE are celebrating a positive month after winning the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Award at the recent Made in the UK awards, held in Liverpool on 22nd June. The national ceremony brings together regional award winners from the past 12 months together to compete for manufacturing excellence at national level.
Separate regional awards took place back in April, where A-SAFE also won the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Award. The safety barrier company was initially shortlisted because of its commitment to developing safety solutions set to change the industry. A-SAFE was also praised by judges for exceptional overseas growth, accounting for over 75 percent of its total business profits in 2016.
As part of the awards entry, A-SAFE submitted details of their new racking damage detection product, RackEye. The product features a combined device, remote app and digital dashboard that provides around-the-clock, real-time monitoring of racking structures, alerting users remotely when damage is detected so they can intersect and take action.

June has continued to be a month of achievements for A-SAFE, who were also ranked in HSBC's International Track 200 - a nationally recognised league table that ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales. A-SAFE were ranked in 82nd place after reaching 48.54% in its two-year average international sales growth per annum.
The Sunday Times league table and awards programme is sponsored by HSBC and DHL Express, and compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events firm.
Co-Owner and Director of A-SAFE James Smith commented: “To be recognised in both a national league table and awards ceremony during the same month is a fantastic achievement for us. We started out as a small business, and each of these achievements is confirmation that we’re driving the business forward and embracing A-SAFE’s exceptional growth. The awards event also gave us a chance to showcase RackEyeTM, a product which we believe will transform warehouse safety, changing operations for the better.”
