To celebrate and coincide with Valentine’s Day this year, LateRooms has launched the campaign to engage with their consumers and raise brand awareness with user-generated-content. The series of videos have been created around the concept of ‘fake news’, in which a news reporter encourages viewers to share cringeworthy images of PDA (Public Displays of Affection) to fight a ‘PDA epidemic’.
By encouraging viewers to submit photographic ‘evidence’ of PDA with the hashtag #GetARoom, this will build user-generated-content and viral potential. WhiteNoise Media has created five videos for the #GetARoom campaign, with a full length version for YouTube, 60 second version for Facebook, Twitter and other social networks, and a square adaptation for Instagram.
The best PDA photo or video entered with the hashtag #GetARoom will bag themselves two LateRooms vouchers for themselves and the friend involved.
