Customer engagement agency, Big Brand Ideas, has appointed Karl Hodgson, from Return, as Commercial Director to support its ongoing business growth.

Karl joins the agency with 14 years’ experience in digital marketing across a range of sectors and will be part of the board, working closely with the senior management team.

Previously, he was Head of Business Development at Return and helped to position the agency commercially. He will use his experience and skills to lead new business at Big Brand Ideas.

Initially attracted to the agency by its intelligent approach to engagement, Hodgson said: “I’m joining Big Brand Ideas at an exciting time. The business has achieved significant growth over the last 24 months due to new client wins and a successful product and proposition focused around content.
